Good to know
Check the organizer’s page for registration or waivers. A cali RSVP doesn’t complete them.
This day will have a bi-feature focused on the vibrant world of surrealist cinema: City of Pirates by Raul Ruiz: A surreal odyssey in which a melancholic maidservant crosses paths with a homicidal little boy, travels to a tiny island of pirates and encounters a man with multiple personalities. The Obscure Object of Desire by Luis Bunuel: After dumping a bucket of water on a beautiful young woman from the window of a train car, wealthy Frenchman Mathieu, regales his fellow passengers with the story of the dysfunctional relationship between himself and the young woman in question, a fiery 19-year-old flamenco dancer named Conchita. What follows is a tale of cruelty, depravity and lies – the very building blocks of love. This film is part of 2 month curation built around the recommendations recieved by the members. This is our final curation for the year 2026!
