Wilderness First Aid Training

A two-day introduction to general medical concepts and basic life support skills. This course is targeted to the outdoor enthusiast on day trips or short adventures.

The Details

Advanced riders ride A LOT. They go further, faster, and bigger. The stoke factor is high, along with the risks. ​If most of your days are spent on your bike, you owe it to your friends, and to yourself, to know what to do when things go wrong. If you ride in the backcountry, and like to get away from the rat race, your first aid training needs to match your adventure.

Date: Saturday, October 24  and Sunday, October 25 Time: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Location: Boulder Rural Fire Rescue, 6230 Lookout Rd, Boulder, 80301 Cost: $250 (includes $50 discount for BMA members)

• This course is taught by Colorado Outside instructor Darren Stokes and is offered in partnership with Wilderness Medical Associates International. WFA certifications are valid for three years.
